Competitive Advantages

  1. Excellent high-pressure performance for heavy-duty applications. This model belongs to the PR4 radial piston pump series with a maximum pressure rating up to 700 bar. It delivers stable high-pressure power for industrial presses, metal forming machinery, test rigs and heavy hydraulic systems. Compared with conventional medium-pressure hydraulic pumps, it adapts well to continuous heavy loads, frequent pressure build-up and shock loads, improving equipment working efficiency and system response.
  2. Compact structure with high integration. The PR4 series adopts a radial piston design to achieve high power density within limited installation space. It is ideal for installations with strict limits on dimension and weight. It comes with a standard mounting flange, multiple port options and modular configurations, making it easy to integrate with machine frames, valve blocks, cylinders and piping, and lowering on-site modification work.
  3. Stable operation and outstanding reliability. Rexroth PR4 series features balanced internal force layout, low noise and long-life core components for continuous industrial operation. Its relatively low flow pulsation reduces system vibration, noise and actuator jitter, and maintains stable pressure control, which protects moulds, hydraulic cylinders and mechanical structures.

The Analysis for Rexroth PR4-30 Radial Piston Pump Commom Breakdown:

  1. Insufficient pressure or reduced flow output. This is a typical failure of high-pressure radial piston pumps. It is generally caused by internal wear, excessive internal leakage, poor oil suction or faulty valve assemblies. When plungers, cylinder blocks, valve plates or slippers wear out, sealing at the high-pressure chamber deteriorates. The pump will struggle to build pressure, and actuators run slowly, especially under high pressure and long continuous operation.
  2. Abnormal noise and excessive vibration. The PR4 pump may produce strange sounds and periodic vibration once faulty. Common triggers include clogged suction filters, low oil tank level, air ingestion from suction lines, misaligned couplings or worn internal bearings. For 700 bar high-pressure systems, abnormal noise often indicates early damage to internal parts and requires timely inspection.
  3. Rising oil temperature and oil contamination issues. If the cooling circuit, filtration system or return line resistance is abnormal during long-time operation, oil temperature will rise rapidly and hydraulic fluid will degrade. Accelerated ageing hardens seals and worsens internal wear. Contaminated oil can scratch or jam plungers, valve plates and valve components, creating a vicious cycle of contamination, wear, leakage and overheating.
